Pepper arrived at the shelter on 5-3-13 and is now up for adoption. Pepper is a beautiful Pit mix who is around 1 1/2 years old. Pepper came to us very scared and unsure of her surrounding. We have been working with her and she is a little better. Pepper will lay in her kennel and shake and flatten herself to the ground when you go in but you can sit there all day and pet her and she loves it. We have to carry her outside but once she is out she will follow you around and even try to play with you. It's like she wants to play and trust you but just not sure how. Pepper is so sweet and it's sad to see her like this. She will need lots of LOVE, encouragement, and patients. Pepper will be spayed and given a rabies vaccination before going to her new home. We have a wonderful foster program available (if you live inside city limits) to see if the animal compliments or complicates your life.
